Bringing Weight inclusive & neurodivergent affirming care -
Virtually to you!
At Luna Nutrition Therapy, we believe that eating, moving your body, and simply existing in this world shouldn't be that hard—no matter your age. Yet, we know that it often feels overwhelming. Parents are bombarded with unsolicited advice about feeding their children and managing their bodies. Athletes are constantly faced with myths and misinformation that can affect their performance. And for many, the endless flood of conflicting messages about the “right” way to eat creates confusion and frustration. We are a social justice-informed practice, recognizing that the issue lies with the world, not the individual. Our weight-inclusive and neurodivergent-affirming care supports clients of all ages—children, teens, young adults, and adults alike—in navigating a world that has its own challenging relationship with food and body. We focus on building resilience and confidence in your true, authentic self. Just as the phases of the moon symbolize transformation and renewal, our approach to recovery and healing your relationship with food, body, and movement mirrors this cyclical journey of growth and self-discovery for everyone, at every stage of life.
Our nutrition counseling services are tailored to foster a holistic transformation in your relationship with food, body, and movement, for clients of all ages—children, teens, young adults, and adults. Through our guidance, you can anticipate experiencing increased satisfaction with eating, reduced stress and "drama" surrounding food and movement, and a profound sense of inner peace and self-worth. From helping a child develop a positive relationship with food, to supporting teens and young adults through challenging transitions, to guiding adults in reconnecting with their needs, we offer support that meets you where you are. Whether you find joy in savoring every bite or need practical strategies to navigate the complexities of nourishing yourself, we are here to help you authentically connect with your needs and preferences at every stage of life.
We embrace a client-led, neurodiversity-affirming approach. positioning the client as the expert in their own experiences and working collaboratively to explore strategies that honor their unique needs and preferences. Personalized support to address complex relationships with food and body image. We use motivational interviewing and a relational approach to counseling to guide clients in meal planning, challenging harmful beliefs around food, body, and movement, and cultivating self-compassion. This approach promotes healing and helps develop a positive relationship with nourishment and self-care.
Tailored support for individuals seeking a holistic approach to health, focusing on gentle nutrition practices to honor body cues and preferences. Additionally, we offer evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to address specific health concerns, empowering clients to make informed choices that support their individual health and wellness.
